NexGard COMBO Main Uses:

NexGard COMBO is a topical monthly parasiticide for cats and kittens that offers broad-spectrum protection against both internal and external parasites:

Kills adult fleas and ticks

Prevents heartworm disease
-
Treats and controls roundworms, hookworms, and tapeworms (unique among feline products).

Health conditions supported: Flea infestations, tick infestations (including black-legged tick and lone star tick), prevention of heartworm, and treatment/control of intestinal worms.
NexGard COMBO Active ingredients:

Esafoxolaner: Kills fleas and ticks by interfering with the nervous system of parasites.

Eprinomectin: Prevents heartworm disease and treats roundworm and hookworm infections.

Praziquantel: Targets tapeworms by disrupting their parasite-specific neuroendocrine function.

Applied topically. Ingredients penetrate the skin, delivering systemic and topical action against multiple parasite types. Esafoxolaner is specially developed for safe feline use.
NexGard COMBO Dosage & Administration

For cats and kittens: Safe for 8 weeks and older, weighing 1.8 lbs (0.8 kg) or more.

Dosage: Applied topically once monthly; specific volume varies by cat's weight.

Dosage examples per weight:

Cats less than 2.5 kg: 0.3 mL

Cats 2.5–7.4 kg: 0.9 mL

NexGard COMBO Administration

Apply to dry skin on the neck between base of skull and shoulder blades (where cat cannot lick)

Monthly application recommended, starting June 1st, ending November 1st for seasonal heartworm coverage, or year-round in heartworm risk regions.

Always use the product tube size appropriate for your cat's current body weight; consult a veterinarian for kittens growing rapidly or special health needs.
NexGard COMBO Safety & Side Effects

Common side effects: Vomiting, lethargy, application site reactions (redness, hair loss), anorexia. Hypersalivation may occur if the product is ingested.

Rare side effects and warnings:

Use with caution in cats with a history of seizures or neurologic disorders.

If severe adverse reactions occur, discontinue use and contact your veterinarian.
