Caninsulin is an intermediate-acting insulin. Each mL contains highly purified porcine insulin 40 IU consisting of 35% amorphous zinc insulin (fast acting) and 65% zinc crystalline insulin (slow acting insulin).

This is an item that requires refrigeration. It is packed in a styrofoam container with ice pack and is only shipped on Mondays or Tuesdays to avoid package being left at Canada Post depots over the weekends.
